"I have to put my sports kit in the changing rooms," says Miri. We continue walking. She adds, "Do you want to come, or do you want to go straight?"
"I'll go with you," I answer.
There is a long pause.
"You know," I point out, "that conversation just sounded really filthy. In some higher dimension, the people writing fanfiction about us have just exploded."
"All over the internet."
"There's a million AMVs for us, using that one clip completely out of context."
"Do they all use MCR?"
"No doubt."
